Big thank you to all public sector emergency staff (doctors, police, nurses etc etc) keeping us safe
Not sure about retail staff, they'll also have to deal with wild members of the public |

Every year for the last five years I have always had the 27th, 28th and the 29th off. This year I'm having to work the 27th and the 28th but then I'll have five days off so can't complain too much x |

I'd love to be working Xmas day or Boxing day. Triple time for going in sitting on my ass for a couple of hours watching telly then going home. Shame only 3 people get to do it out of a work force of 120 |

"I should finish on the 22nd and not go back till the 3rd all going well. Mr S
Mrs S is the same I think " That sounds fantastic. I have always had to work Xmas or New year for over 30yrs now. Having both off would be heaven to me |

We both have early shift on Christmas day and Boxing day.
We dont mind, we work in care and the people we care for need that special attention. We are very happy to give it.... thats what its all about.
