A world of my own

Magic have an entire station playing Christmas songs. The German market is open. Santa is at the Gyle.

Is it too soon to put up the tree?

I came out a friends house last night and the neighbour had a whole garden display of snowmen etc

I know one thing though.... it’s never too early to watch Elf

I don't particularly like the festive season but my boys obviously do so I'm trying to embrace it

I’m waiting til December. I like the tree when it’s first up but then I get bored of it.

We put it up at the weekend and the kids decorate it. I then spend that night fixing it!

Always put ours up on the 1st and kids decorate and get advent calendars. Take it down on the 29th tho as it’s the wee fella’s birthday on the 30th so it’s balloons n birthday banners (and making space for a New Years party

A Galaxy Far, Far Away & Spain

Personally I’m a 12 days before & 12 days After sorta guy. That said, it takes 2 days to put up the tree & outside lights, so I see what weekend suits best & go for that. This year I’m off to Disneyland Paris for a pre-festive break so I may have to put the decorations up slightly earlier (or wait till I return).

As for the festive tunes, I’m already way ahead of my normal December timetable by belting out the Christmas Playlists - but it has been bitterly cold, so I’m using that as my excuse.
