If it wasnt in Edinburgh I would have been intrested.
Once was going to go to a meet in Edinburgh till I realised it would take 1 hour 45 mins to get there on train.

Things are taking shape. Some members
have added their profile and comments here and some have written in Private.
We will send out invitations at the end of this week and seek to balance the number of couples, number of men and number of ladies.
Wine and nibbles will start the day at around 1130 at the venue (TBA) but in the city. Finish 04.30
Fun will follow in upmarket surroundings
By way of incentive and as an act of chivalry, individual ladies will have no direct costs to pay, Gentlemen and couples will share costs equally.
These will be in the range of £15-£25 per man or per couple with indivdual ladies free.
The venue will be central, easily reached and as already said upmarket.

Venue: Upmarket Aparthotel in Central Edinburgh. Times: 11-4 Description: Nibbles, wine or soft drinks and chat. For those who wish, the facilities of the luxury apartment will be available for them to use.
No more public information on this particular meet will be given in the forum. Thanks for all of the _iews expressed.

A new idea, new folks, give it time and support, not knocking for no reason. It won't in any way discourage me but it might put others off doing something new on the day time front in Edinburgh and that would be a pity,
Sorry but I hate to correct you.......the first mail and i quote "I give you three choices" does it ring a bell!!!! Your second mail was answered regarding inviting smokers to a non smoking event, I hate that jogs your memory."

Utter pish!!!! I got a mail infact 2 and they we both crude and pervy......sorry to burst you fantastic bubble but your social is a scam. "Nibbles" cpls and men pay and women free. I think the idea of this event is good... I just done think it's clear what exactly it is and what it is turning put to be.... It seems to have started with one idea and has turned into something different...
There seems to clear guidelines or idea....
Think going back to basics and making it clear what it is and what it is going to be would help...

Happy to oblige and restate the format.
We will meet for nibbles and drinks in an upmarket apartment (on this occassion
rented) in Central Edinburgh.People will
have the opportunity to mingle and meet
each other. For those who wish, and no
expectations exist, there will be room facilities which allow adult fun to take
place. The final details will be given
to those attending and will include the
address and any other information. Cost
is not an issue. We have already had
suggestions which point in two seperate
directions on this and have decided that
the organisers will bear the any cost for the venue, unless people absolutely
