Club or private meets?

Just wondering what people's thought are.... do you prefer a club or a private meet?
Personally we just do clubs mainly cjs. We prefer to have a choice and love the social interaction with lots of people and then play with the right ones for us. |

Yep definitely I just feel with a private meet there would be awkwardness and what if you don't click with the hosts |

It's happened to us, been to a private home and it was an awkward disaster! |

I think private meets would work once you had met fun peeps in a club!!! we have had two private social meets which were kind of awkward and led no where, but have been to a club now on four occasions (2 x CJ's, 1 x a machester club and 1 x JayDees) and had a good time, we didn't really get spoken to much so will have to put ourselves out there I think!!!... but although we were nervous it was still a fun experience, better than the private meets for sure less pressure... we are hoping to get way more sociable this Saturday at CJ's xxxx |

Tbh I wouldn't mind a private meet with people we have met and built up a friendship with at clubs that would be different... we tend to stay around the bar area at the club's as that way you get to speak to lots more people and have much more fun

Exactly and that's why we've never done a private meet we feel much more comfortable (at the moment) with the clubs |

Private for a social and a club for more
I have very seldom wanted to play with meets I have met socially tbh although I have enjoyed their company to chat |

Did the club thing years ago,
Presently chatting to people on here and meeting for a coffee that way no pressure. If you don't click then you've had a day out.
If you hit it off then that's a bonus |

Agree with this, however a lot of private parties are the same as long as there is a good mix of people. |

Never pot luck on a private fun meet ...ground work would have been done prior lol ..but even at cjs ..would only play in private room ..never in open room |

We prefer clubs for reasons stated above, think private meets are a bit awkward but never say never. We've been to a few parties that we've felt pressured to play n more recently got carried away with socialising so for us at the moment the jury is still out on parties.
As for clubs being sleazy I think that all depends on the people who are in attendance and the type of night it is. Personally only visited 5 clubs so far, 2 of which I've had amazing nights but there have been occasional nights where I've felt the sleaze.

No not at all there's usually 3 or four new people at most nights and it's different people all the time so most don't know if your new or not and if you say it's your first time then everyone is so welcoming and friendly |

I used to enjoy cjs when I used to meet a lovely lady a few years ago but sadly we don't see each other anymore.
I do love cjs but would not go on my own  |

Always considered the possibility of being too ugly for people in a club so for that reason alone, it’s been private meets for me and will continue to be so |

We prefer clubs, as there's no pressure. CJ's wouldn't be at the top of our list though, we find the dress down clubs work better for us, and a hot tub or pool is always a good alternative to standing at the bar to char. Wish CJ's would do more lingerie nights. Daytime opening would be good too, then we could drive there and back and use it more regularly. Don't get me wrong, CJ's is good at what it sets out to do, it just isn't our persona ideal at present.
Clubs can definitely work for the unconventionally attractive, since there's much more opportunity for personality to shine. |

Private for social meets, good day out if nothing else,if it leads to anything else it's a bonus. Clubs are good fun been to a few south of the border. As for Cj's never been. Could someone tell me when swinging clubs in Scotland became legal |

As someone said previously ground work has already been done before a meet, but certainly never any pressure to play unless everyone is happy  |
