From your own personal experience, what do you believe to be the best way to get over the end of a committed relationship, after the other person cheated on you?

Asking for a friend.

Every situation is different as is every person, so there's no clear answer. Do what you need to do

Apparently there are 3 rules to break ups

One, don't pick up the phone

You know he's only calling 'cause he's d*unk and alone

Two, don't let him in

You have to kick him out again

Three, don't be his friend

You know you're gonna wake up in his bed in the morning

And if you're under him

You ain't getting over him

Hope this helps

A relationship break up is never easy especially if you've been cheated on. I agree with post earlier...time and lots of it . Also do not go back if they have cheated once they will do it again.walk away with your head held high and remember they do not deserve to be in your life.

Your worth so much more

I would always suggest distraction whilst you heal. Throwing yourself into a new hobby or something you have always wanted to do but never taken the leap. Also, socialise, friends will definitely be a great way to start feeling good again.

^^^ This. Alcohol and a wee night out at the dancing is always good when I need cheering up.

You/your friend will be fine xxx
