Am curious to know how many people actually like the fireworks ?

It can be a pain in the arse when you have pets and trying hard to make sure they dont get too stressed out.

I wouldnt mind them if they were only set off tonight and tonight only but it gets out of control when people set them off mid Oct and days after the 5th

I think for us if we did go out for fireworks it would be to Strathclyde park.

Hope every stays safe tonight and hope anyone with a pet he or she doesnt get too stressed out

Given that I have a dog who is terrified of fireworks, I really don't like them.

When I was younger the main focus was on how big you could get the village/town bonfire, whereas nowadays it's about how many explosions and flashes in the sky you can set off.

I'll always have my fond memories of the bonfires that burnt for 5 or more days.

Nowadays though it's about how many days after it'll take for my dog to settle down, and getting back into some semblance of normality in time for the idiots to let off fireworks at the lead up to New Year.

I (R) love fireworks. Tonights better than Xmas for me, although I haven't actually got any of my own this year like I normally do. Will have to make do with watching everyone elses out the window.

Staying at the top of Hamilton I get a great view towards Strathclyde park and beyond so I'm happy sitting at the window with a coffee watching them in the warmth

Being a pet owner I really hate them and can’t see the point in it all.

Especially annoying when they are getting set off days before and after. I’m working in Cambuslang Main Street and someone’s set 2 off at 8:30 in the morning.....just why ?
