Chatting with a colleague today and reminiscing about sweets that are no longer around that we liked as kids. Mines was Spangles (child of the 70’s). Does anyone else have sweets that they miss?

There was also a bubble gum called Bazooka Joes that had the same thing, tasted of germakine and there were transfers inside it. You licked the sheet, slapped it on your arm, left it 2 minutes and hey presto you had a tattoo lol

That’ll be them! I wasn’t sure of the name!

My kid had a tattoo the other day and asked for a damp cloth to put it on, I said ‘come here!’

I put it on her arm and licked it, she was disgusted. Hahahaha

My vote always will be for the Secret bar.

There's a few on this list that are still available, just harder to find.

Cadbury recently said that they had considering bringing back the Secret for a limited time, but it was still cost prohibitive to make and would have to be sold at a premium price.

Nope, I even remember the advert (guy with 80s hair, torn like machine and he catches it at the end).

It did look like washing up liquid though

A Galaxy Far, Far Away & Spain

I think they were called “Stroodles”.

Sort of chocolate covered pieces of apple in an apple shaped pack. A bit like chocolate covered raisins but with a sharper kick.
