Here is my heating advice for the winter.... Im not a plumber btw.

If you are cold turn the thing on the wall or ypur App to high.

If you are very hot remove a garmet of clothing until your body tempreture stabelises.

Any more quiestions just ask.

Could be entitied to a free heating system. Loft installation, cavity walls done and more

if it is a sealed system ie you have a pressure gauge. means pressure to high due to expansion vessel flat or PRV is passing.

My advice as someone in the trade

Stay away from the Internet for advice and call a gas safe registered engineer or company.

I wouldn't give advice over a forum, phone or anything like that as all boilers are different and sometimes users get mixed up when describing things.

totally agree wouldn't expect anyone to try something themselves. but basically things like topping pressure up setting clocks etc people can do without being gas safe

How many times have you seen pressure being topped up and filling loops not turned off properly leading to floods or prv's failing etc.
