Can we do it?

If we win this afternoon then we're in the playoffs guaranteed.

Sure we might lose out again like to the Dutch a few years ago but at least it would be something.

To even be in with a chance after such a bad start is a miracle in itself!

Saor Alba!

I'd love it if we did. I'm just not confident that we can.

Just need to wait and see.

I'd say just pray they get pumped tonight.

If the make the play offs, they'll probably go out after missing a last minute sitter, setting off another four years of "If only..."

I would love to see us qualifying for a world cup again, but im realistic.

Slovenia have had 8 clean sheets in 10 games, while Scotland dont score many, potentialy 0-0 tonight.

In saying that I will be screaming c'mon Scotland at the telly tonight.

0-0 draw would mean we need Malta to do us a favour in Bratislava. That ain't going to happen!

Gordon played a good mind game calling Jan Oblak the best keeper in the world. I agree with him, guy is immense for Atlético, but hopefully this is his off day!

I would love to see it but Strachans stubbornness to select the right players over the campaign could cost us

Why was Snoddy not on from the start instead of Matt Phillips that touched the ball about three times?

Has Strachan quit or been sacked yet?

"Has Strachan quit or been sacked yet?"
There's no better options out there.

We'd end up with that chancer Moyes, or worse a step back to McLeish or Smith. Steve Clarke should have been brought in to the coaching team years ago!

A shit side that have been to 3 tournaments since we were last at one. They have the best keeper in the world and we beat him twice!

Agreed Bazinga

I feel everyone needs to chill and be realistic. Calling Slovenia a crap side, OMG. Scotland I thought weren't that good but they stifled Slovenia from playing.

We are at the level we are at. If you think we should be higher then your whistling against the wind.

Don't get me wrong, it was a bad start and over a group campaign these things

normally even themselves out. I think there's fault at Strachan but hes limited with choice.

I don't like Strachan as he doesn't want to listen or take advice for help. He does it his way, keeping players that did well for him in past even though they haven't been doing much lately but then again its up to new players to take the place and there isn't many options for him.

30 years ago there was 1800 teams in the Scottish Amateur Cup, not there is less than 700 it means less and less boys are playing football.

It's a worry as I look to nations of the same size and think, why arn't the SFA adopting their styles in a similar way.

In order for any player, any club team, any national team to get better they first need to realize what is wrong, deal with those problems and make them better for development, only then can the better days arrive.

No matter what, until the day I die, I will still be screaming for Scotland to win even though there's no hope, but even if we know that we bring hope on ourselfs but its a start

Yes, Strachan has stuck with players who are past their best, and players who are over-rated, but so has every one of his predecessors. That isn't an excuse, that's an observation, and a reason for continued failure.

Like watching a pub side. How bad are Scotland??? This was the easiest group to qualify from, yes England first but we should have been second all year long!

Why? Do we have some divine right to be there?

We haven't qualified since 1998 for a reason. The academies at Celtic, Aberdeen and Rangers take all the best talent and demoralise them by signing third-rate foreigners ahead of them; so many of them give up because it's mainly the crap that gets kept on.

FFS we had a League One player starting last night! Is that how bad we are? We even had Matt Phillips starting as well over Snoddy and Anya. What the fuck?
