Does anyone use Plenty Of Fish? Had any success with it?
I've recently started to use it and it's led to the following theory:
There are no women on the site. It's all run by the Markus dude, as a money-making scheme. At the risk of sounding desperate, I've sent messages to around 30 women and haven't had a single reply. I'm no mathematician, but that's a crap ratio. Before you get on my back and question the type of message I send, I'm not that type of guy. It's all good-natured, friendly with a hint of self-deprecation.
I really don't want to come to the conclusion that I'm an ugly motherfucker and that's the reason why I'm getting no replies, so I can only assume it's this mysterious Markus fella.

I'm on it and have used it on and off for years. In my experience, it's far easier to chat to and meet women on there than here, simply due to a more equal balance of users.
I also like how the site has adapted to changing user wants from what was predominantly strictly a dating site, to now something more informal, if that's your thing. To keep market share, they seem to have accepted some people just want to hook up.
They even have organised group social nights regularly, I was at one in Glasgow a few months ago and there were more women at it than men. |

I've never tried it. Not sure about grump. But a few of the young yins in my work are on it and tinder and seem to think it's good.
I did joke I might join it only to be informed they didn't think it was my scene I'm a bit too prudish lol.

I've tried it a few times over the years but really wasn't all that taken by any of the men on it.
It proves my theory that on there and I imagine other dating sites mens selection criteria is different to here..
Also it may just mean I'm really scary and get by on here because I show my boobs more than my face... |

Before being part of a couple I used POF for years had a few relationships from meeting on it and then I just used it for hook ups when fab was a bit dead, also tinder and badoo they where mainly just hook ups though. But then I'm female.
Did encounter a couple of people on here and had previously spoken to them on one of the dating sites and it only went somewhere cause they realised I was on fab. |

Haven't tried it but a female friend did and had her fair share of social misfits/desperados/oddballs and a lot of decent guys. Didn't find her soulmate however. |

I am on POF and have just about given up on it. Too many fakes or "daddy lovers" looking for a generous daddy.
Response rate is about 5% and a lot of them are just looking for a penpal and have no intention of actually meeting.
It is as frustrating a place as Fab. |

I find pof more friendly than here . Iv met some really nice people on there . But prob more fake people on there than here. I would take both sites with a big dose of salt. But as things go for success pof wins it hands down. |

Definite male/female ratio issues however nowhere near as imbalanced as on here. |
