Just remember that if you pay for an escort she will be more than likely clock watching, probably not interested in kissing and will view the whole scenario as a purely commercial transaction. It certainly wouldn't ever be my or.my fb fantasy. Think carefully. |

I know people that use Escorts all the time . As unsafe it sounds some clock watch some are amazing looking some live in shit holes . Depends if you want to pay the extra for outgoing calls . al be honest ave done it once with an English girl paying for Uni up here from adultworks.com after i became single after 8 years more of a rebound instead of pulling a girl up the town think it was down to lack of confidence at the time . Speaking as a single male who has been a member since about January and only had one meet, half the battle on here is getting a reply. It's probably easier to get an escort than it is the get a reply An escort probably won't turn you down because they don't like facial hair or you aren't their "type". |

100% agree with this! and for the record my adult kids are aware I am on here with my partner and our friends know! We do not hide the fact but dont advertise it. We are not ashamed of what we do. this really isn't true and seems to be a common misconception.
you might be interested to know a guy paying for an hour is usualy out the door and on his way in 20 mins.
clock watching isn't really a thing sinply because the vast majority of clients don't use close to thier time |

you realise a pretty average esscort working in a city will be making £40k+ a year right?
and they can be much more flexible woth how much of that income is declared to the tax man compared to other trades/cash businesses.

ere yes I know. I also have several close friends who are escorts.
all of whom are in the 40% bracket.
a full time escort doesnt need to see many clients at all.
5 clients a week puts an average escort on 2.5k a month.
so 1 client a day for the working week, 5 hours a week for 30k a year.
when you're getting paid like 120 quid an hour for only 30 mins work you can have a pretty decent work life balance. |

So question - does this mean that the women on here who post statuses about wanting to be "wined and dined" or couples who insist that any single guys wanting to meet them "must pay for the hotel" are engaged in prostitution or escorting? They are after all seeking some sort of monetary incentive for sex!
Its the oldest profession in the world whatever you want to call it and there are women who are being exploited but those who arent. In much the same way someone on a zero hours contract is being exploited when compared to someone in a salaried job. I dont believe the OP's would meet with anyone who had been "trafficked" but yet again another post where the morality brigade are turning up their noses and giving it the big "tut tut how could you even consider it?" |

I have a friend who has a disability that makes sexual interaction with able bodied women problematic and highly unlikely due to societal prejudices. For the past 5 years once a month he pays for a woman, whom he has got to know very well and who he trusts, to attend to his sexual needs. In my eyes she is providing an invaluable service. Its simple economics where there is a demand someone will be extinsically motivated to supply what is demanded. |

but that's not what escort means and has never really been a common use for it.
and there are no escorts that meet your definition there, except maybe a vanishingly small niche market but they will still be sex workers in the main.

I suppose it is the negative connotations associated with being a "prostitute" as opposed to an escort. Perhaps "sex worker" is the most apt and all encompassing term to use....cover all bases.  |

Some of the sweeping generalisations above are crackingbut so far from the mark. I know three irks who escort, one I haven't spoken to in about two years. None of them are what I'd describe as a slut or a junkie, desperate or living in a dump. All three are able minded and if they didn't like doing it, or objected to enough areas within it they just wouldnt do it. Escorting now isn't the old street walking that was done in previous years although ofcourse there is still a high crime rate in trafficking through the sex industry so you would want to choose carefully.
