So we're a couple in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire, but I (male half) come from Lanarkshire and we make trips back up that way as often as we can. (There's also talk of moving to somewhere along the central belt of Scotland)
It would be great to have someone up there who we could meet up with for drinks and good times (which may or may not include sexy times) and keep a friendship with when we're down here. But this is really hard to try and arrange by randomly messaging people all over Scotland one by one, so the easiest way seems to be to post in the forum and see who replies
Anyone interested in this at all? |

Also, we like to both check a private message from someone new. If you send a sarcastic follow-up because we haven't replied yet, especially if you're outside our age preferences, we'll conclude you wouldn't have been that great a friend and we'll block you.

Certainly an idea when we spend a free weekend up there  Our trip in October will be just a Thursday night and we won't be able to stay out late as we'll be up early Friday :-/ |

I think as long as your honest from the start, distance will make no real difference.
I had a friend over 180 miles away and although we didn't see each other as often as we perhaps liked.
When we did meet up it was fantastic.
I'm sure when you find the right person and everyone knows and understands the situation you will have a great time together.

Well, our next visit to Scotland is next Thursday night.
Literally just that night we'll be available, but we'll also be a bit tired so it's social only, with a view to more later
Our age limits etc. still apply. |
