Question for you all. Since I'm loosing weight at the moment, I have been chatting with hubby and a friend about when I sound change my body type from curvy to average in the about us section. My hubby and I think at least another dress size (currently a 14) my friend says change it now. What's everyone's thoughts? |

I think curvy sounds nicer than average. Although you're losing weight I'm sure you will retain your sexy womanly curves.
I don't really know the answer to your question. But well done with your weight loss.x |

"If you still have curves then why not stay at curvy?"
I don't think I'll ever be thin as I've always had a natural hourglass figure. I always thought curvy meant overweight on here, just because of the way the categories go. |

Haha, it really is. The web designers really should be told that there isn't enough categories |

It depends but I genuinely think curvy sounds sexier than average however one look at your pics and I would say you are far too sexy to ever be considered average |

"If you'll pardon the pun,
Your sweet ass honey!
Beautiful body, just as it is."
Aww, thanks! Xxx
I really didn't mean for this post to sound like I was looking for appreciation from everyone. It really was a genuine question, but thanks to you all for the lovely replies. |

Why worry ,average to some is way overweight to others ,slim to some is anorexic to others also .Some see themselves as curvy when others see them as obese .
To many give a f### about everyone else's thoughts.Loose it love it live it |

Curvy should be the average in our opinion. Altho i hear its all about WHR - but that's just mathematicians and their excuses for watching porn.
Not sure what average is for guys either (or if there's a 'ratio'. Shoulders to waist? Maybe left ball to right (one is supposed to be larger - isn't it?).
There's too much onus on it. That's onus with an 'o' (there's a booty joke in there somewhere). |

Fab's categories look like they are deliberately designed to be fuzzy. I reckon you could easily change category now and nobody would bat an eyelid. Or you could wait until you drop a dress size and... nobody would bat an eyelid. Or you could stay "curvy" at size 12 and...
...and so on.
Although I think you'll already be seeing a lot of eyelid batting for other reasons .
As an aside I actually quite *like* fab's categories: I like the fact that they have chosen positive descriptions for different body types; and I like the fact that they aren't particularly prescriptive, so there's room for overlap and interpretation.

Whatever you put, just enjoy the sass.
If someone has a formula for dress size versus fab body type I'd suggest they're not going to be the relaxed type of meet that Fabbing should be about. |

I have the same debate. I go between a size 12 and size 14 and I've consideraed changing mine from average to curvy. Regardless, your body is bloody fabulous and not just in pics ?? |

congrates, myself i like my women carvy so i think you should leave it that way, but if you do want to change it, size 14 is small enough to change it now |

I've lost almost two stone in weight since I joined fab so I will change my shape description as a few guys have pointed out that I am too slim to be.curvy! |
