The way I see the spl going this season is Celtic winning but not by the same margin. Expecting it to be only 5-10 points by the end.

Rangers 2nd with Aberdeen close behind and Hearts and Hibs behind that.

Of course not everyone will agree with this. It's only my opinion.

The reason I went with rangers over Aberdeen is I feel they have done good business in the transfers and look on paper a much stronger outfit. More solid at the back and better in midfield.

I think Pedro given time which I hope he gets is a good manager once he gets the team playing his style and his way

Rangers fan here and I agree with this although the gap might be bigger 5-10 might be a bit hopeful but recon Rangers will take second, well we can always hope lol especially at the start of the season...

Celtic here and it would be nice to see a Scottish football post that did not have to be closed due to the bigotry but I doubt that will happen and I could name right now the ones likely to be responsible as it is always the same few but I wont. Would be great to see a day when the two Glasgow sides just argued about football and left the rest out.

Have I touched a nerve after your initial comment, if you read the original post from the o.p. No sectarian mumbo jumbo etc. I pointed out that as per there were 3 questionable replies , all directed from 1supported team . The only negative comment came from yourselves, which is in black and white if you care to read back . But glad you recognised the same factor. As I said , ignorance shines through, yours did . I am a Rangers fan and have been for 50+ years.

My overall prediction is as follows

1) Celtic

2) Rangers

3) Aberdeen

4) Hibernian

5) St. Johnstone

Celtic will win again but the gap will be considerably lower. Pedro has got a decent squad now that he has binned Warburtons diddies.

One of us supports Rangers and he other supports Dundee United but my gut feeling is that I would rather see half a dozen games played before making predictions for the SPL table. But I have no doubt Celtic will top it

It was a great start but we were awfull for 1st 10 minutes and I was fearing the worst when we went 1 down.

But we don't want it to be a two horse race! We want it to be like the English league where a number of teams are in the running! Makes it more exciting.

However it will be a few years before there will be a two horse race. That's being realistic.

I think there should be a 3 foreigner rule for the stating 11 & the bench. Scottish football is dire & boring in its current format. Play the youngsters. Maybe then the national team will qualify for a major tournament.

St Johnstone have done amazingly well considering their relatively small budget. Just a shame they don't have a large support at their games

Yeah I agree,I see absolutely no need in falling out about football,I'm a Hibs fan and we once to a good friend who is a jambo to the league cup final with us against livingston.He enjoyed it more than us though haha
