When I grew up my mother and father used to tell me if you kissed girls your teeth would fall out.
Im in my late 40's now and did a bit of kissing. However I have all my teeth.....Does anyone else have parents that told their children bare faced lied  |

If I keep crying they will give me something to cry about...
Sitting to close to the tv will give me square eyes...
My eyes turn red when I lie....

All of these although was my tongue tirned green if was lieing.
Have to admit i kinda use most of them on my sprogs now   |

Both mum and dad said my being in a children's home was just temporary when I was placed in at 5....which I suppose was half true as I got out when I was 17 |

Lol well kissing did make my bridge come loose and it was a front tooth! Fortunately I'd known him a long time.
I used to have poker straight hair but now it's curly since having my daughter 17 years ago!
Maybe some myths do come true!
Hitting 50 next year and no intention of growing up. I'll grow old disgracefully hopefully.

Every hour seemed like a day and every day seemed like a year the sun always shone and the rain was for splashing in puddles and watching the raindrops run down the window and guessing which one was first to the bottom. A trip to the beach was a hundred miles away ( carnoustie) and fish and chips were a treat on the way home. Memories  |
