My profile is hidden at the moment for personal reasons and don't see why i should have too explain why it is!!!!!
Was in chat today and got abuse and called a 'cock tease' yet again, because they don't seem to think i should be here if i'm not meeting anyone new at the moment and swinging.
Yes it is a swinging site, but i've also made so many friends on here that i want too keep in touch with.
So no im NOT teasing anyone and have as much right as anyone else too be here!!!!! Rant over lol
What do other people think?

I am sure everyone has their reasons for hiding their profile, but surely it would be easier if you just changed your profile and wrote 'not currently meeting' at the top of the page? You could just hide your photos and verifications and that way your being very clear? x |

I done that squidgy hun and i got more mail than before some of it quite abusive, so thats why i decided to hide my profile. |

I agree, the amount of people you see that have a line at the top of the profile saying "not meeting at mo" etc yet still get folk pestering them in chat is unreal.
Think you just have to use your thick skin and move on, some men cant seem to get into their thick heads that a no means a no and that by been pushy they are doing themselves no favours.

No one should have to put up with any abuse hun. A polite no should be all that's required but I guess some guys just cannot take no for an answer and that's when they become abusive.

There could be a thousand reasons (Many of them personal) why You OR I decide to hide our OWN profile at any given time. I'm sure you have legitimate reasons for hiding your profile and haven't just done it to agitate fellow members. 
Unfortunately there are people here on the site who seem to think because you are in the room chatting, you must be looking for a meet at short notice.
The bit i don't get though ...Verbal abuse isn't likely to do you or anyone else any favours... so, why bother? Complete waste of energy!

Agree that no one should have to put up with abuse, of any kind.
As for putting something on your profile, its a waste of time too, cos those who dish out the abuse rarely read profiles anyway.

The not meeting at the moment thing isnt always entirely true, i have on a few occasions seen profiles with not meeting or taking a break.....and its blatantly obvious from feedback they are still meeting, seen it with singles and couples. This gives a false impression so of course people dont always take it for real....theres 2 sides to it on this subject....the ones who are definitely on a break and those on a will meet certain folks kinkda break. |

It is a free site and you are entitled to be on it like everyone else and to use all the facilities and functions which the site affords you. Hiding profiles was designed for people who chose to use it for whatever reason. The site designers and owners obviously understand that this is sometimes necessary and that is why they offerred it. W_eather you are meeting or not, curios and just exploring, it is no one's business why you are on the site and what for as long as you follow the site rules.
You should not take notice of those minority of ignorant people who do not take no for an answe and have no comprehension or reasoning to personal circumstances. The designers and owners obviously also anticipated the existenec of such ignorrance and therefore provided us with the luxury of the ignore button and choice on the profile menue.
You should not have to take any abuse from anyone and should report it. Nor you in deed have to explain yourself to any one, what you do is your business and if some people do not like it then tough, they can walk by.
p.s. w_eather you meet or just tease, the site needs sexy people like you to keep it hot and spicy,lol

it doesnt seem to matter what u do on here, u turn off ure profile ure a timewaster, u say "no thanks" to guys and ure a timewaster...u cant win...
i turn mines to private all the time if i cant meet and i feel that is better than keeping it on cause then i would feel like a timewaster...if u wanna turn it off then its ure business and no one else's and u dont have to explain ureself!!!! |

yea i agree with u jands ive seen that maself if ppl got up not meeting or taken a break then u look at there got new verifaction..or that cancel a meet an u see uve been on another meet by verifaction..ppl should just be HONEST but on here some ppl cant even spell HONEST |

I am on a break and carrying my balls around in a sling like thingie and they are dam dam heavy..

People take a break for many reasons, ill health, kids being off school on hols, catching up with pre-arranged meets... many things, that doesn't mean you can't still use chat facilites to keep in touch with friends and pass what may be an otherwise empty hour or two. it is after all Scotland chatroom you use Foxi xxx |

in all fairness sometimes the verifications can be from a meet that happened a while back- not everyone does them straight away. but i am guilty as charged - i forgot to remove the not meeting for a while bitty for about a week. |

firstly what you put on your profile is up to you, whether you care to share your friends list, hide your profile or anything else IS YOUR CHOICE,
secondly it seems that many of the window licker brigade cannot stand rejection, therefore seem to revert to simple abuse (knock backs often offend),and to be fair to some of the guys, abuse often comes from females and cpls aswell, altho they are in the minority.
Thankfully both me and the mrs dont get any serious abuse as we would both eat em for breakfast, however people should always remember this site was created for fun and NO means NO.

We don't have the resources to update people on each individual report we receive (we get hundreds each day and if we replied to each one then dealt with the follow up mails, we would never get through them or get anything else done). But an admin does read and deal with every single report and take the appropriate action.

If you have a problem with a user, your best bet is to use the REPORT link on profiles / messages. We have had contacts from you via the contact form but not reports about users or emails via the report link.

im no 1 to complain about anyone cause i deal with half wits myself but 2 get dafty sending abuse emails when ive never even spoken 2 them is not on..next time they be having ya baws for earings an be my normaly cheeky self ive deleted there emails but ill email u admin there profile name 4 u 2 keep an eye on them xx |
