Been to the venue this afternoon, just updating you all with the detail you will need.
Time 7 30 till late
Date 16th December
The cost is 15.00 per person this will include a hot buffet, entertainment, your dj for the night and some amazing raffle prizes.
The dress code for this event will be smart/ glam.
Although we are at full capacity for this your place isnt confirmed until we recieve your payment. All payments need to be in by the 31st of october to allow us to pay everything for the night.
A reserve list is avaliable so feel free to contact myself, _earded blossom or cherub for further details.
Anyone who has already been confirmed will recieve a mail within the next week with payment details. X

We've just received a message asking if ok to pay and then if they change mind can they have money back... so just to clarify... please make sure you want to come before paying as we will be paying the venue etc in advance so therefore will have used all your payments to do this. There are one or two people who have said they won't know till nearer the time, which is fine and they guys will pay once they can confirm. This is also the reason we want all payments in by 31 October as the venue needs to be paid in advance and gives us time to buy the raffle prizes

Please remember folks, the reserve list is rather full to at the moment and you'll only be added to it if you've got verifications etc, might not seem fair for newbies etc but it's out best way to make sure the right kinda people at there on the evening, we don't want randoms ruining the evening, we aren't trying to pick and choose who comes and who doesn't (well apart from the ones we've sniffed out) but just making sure the evening goes to plan with a good mix of the right people 
Looking forward to this evening and hopefully all the hard work pulls off a night to remember

Just a wee reminder that payments need to be in for end of October to secure your place. This is to enable us to pay the venue and to give people on the reserve list plenty of notice if there's a space. Please let ourselves, pinup or cherub know if you've changed your mind about coming along

Our night is the following Saturday (8 days later) so reserve list or not it wouldn't make a difference they'd be free to do both... unless you are going to adultnap them indefinitely ... which is a bit of a jump from hijacking

Ha ha yes we are looking to Fabnap them. You closed your reserve list so we wont impact your list. Add to this our night is quite a bit more of an expensive event/party night, there should be no impact on your guest list. Unless of course people are only allowed to go to an event organised by you guys ?? . |

I think we already said they areon two different nights so there would be no issue.
I think expensense isnt really the issue o think on average youd find people would rather have an exclusively fab private function event than a non one.
But different evernts will appeal to different people and good luck filling your space x |

Thx Pinup. X Totally agree it wasnt for everyone. We were just shocked at the number of Regular posters on here who originally said it would never work or to expensive etc etc. It was always billed as a party night and not a Fab/Social night. All we were asking on your forum was for a couple who missed out on your night to contact us. And that it would be more expensive as hotel and meal was included. No disrespect intended. Xx |

Thought I'd update seeing as John was right about being wrong we've closed reserve list as there's over 40 on it... for those on the list if any spaces become available we will contact you by pm.
The closing date for payments is 31 October so we really won't know until then if there are any spaces unless people contact us to say they can't make it. We will be sending out reminder mails next week and then again two weeks before deadline to remind people about payments as we know not everyone comes on the forums.
If we are in the position to open up the reserve list again we'll post it on here but that wouldn't happen until November

That's why we decided to plan well in advance, not many venues can hold a very large about of people and keep it safe. If it was our own premise then it wouldn't be an issue but sadly it's not, there is plenty of socials organised through the year and as I said in another post today, everyone can organise a social and more people need to start organising to as the scene in glasgow (scotland for that matter) is very big and one social can't cater to them all. I'm sure our social isn't the only social event running upto the Xmas period so maybe keep an eye out for more but with numbers for this social are already over the 150 mark. We'd love nothing more than opening the doors to somewhere and having everyone who wants to come along come but that's not a reality at this moment. We know why people don't organise socials etc because they are always criticised for one thing or another plus the whole night going to plan being a huge strain and stress hence why a few of us are joining together to organise this one
At the moment there isn't a Halloween social, maybe someone can plan one? Halloween isn't our thing personally hence why we've not been interested in organising one or even putting out the feelers

Loads of you have paid up which is great and we are working our way threw the reserves list.
If we mail you and youve been online but havent replied to the mail in 48hour s we will take that as a no thanks and move onto the next person on the list.
This might sound harsh but so many people are waiting we think its the fairest way if doing things.
In light of this we are opening up the reserve list again aswell so anyone who wants to be added to that feel free to mail myself or _earded blossom and we can get that sorted.
Remember the end of October is the last date for payments as we have the venue and dj etc to cover.
