.... but now that aldi do 'salt your own' crisps like old fashioned salt n shake... am i making it up that at some point years ago there was 'flavour n shake'???

"Even better IMO were Discos that came with a sachet of additional flavour, and they were great.
Can't remember the flavours, but I'm sure the Salt and Vinegar came with Chilli.

Never mind crisps, I saw a car the other day that was made the year I was born, and it looked in better nick than me. It probably had less filler and welding too.  |

I definitely remember salt 'n shake but I don't remember flavoured ones.
I do remember that a bag of crisps in my primary school tuck shop cost two and a half pence. |

I remember the salt and shake crisps. There was a little blue bag of salt that you had to rummage through all the crisps to find.
There was enough salt in the little packet to give you a heart attack so you had to be careful not to tip the whole lot in at one time. |
