When I send a message, always try and be respectful, I only wish recipients would delete rather than leave it hanging, marking as unread when they then go and check your profile is just plain rude. |

If you haven't heard back in an hour or so, I'd say it's slim to getting a reply, lassies get too many messages, if you haven't managed to spark up 3-4 messages by that time, they won't be looking for your message x |

I do appreciate your feeling, however the site does stipulate a non response should be taken as a polite no thanks. That's because females in particular get so many messages. We have lives and quite simply cannot answer every message sometimes. Also replying can result in pointless "ping pong" Mail. I underline this in my profile text saying I prefer to make contact myself and still get messages... some would say that's rude

You've got to remember women get tons of messages from pathetic guys sending as many copy and pasted messages to as many people as possible.
I've been shown the inbox of a friend on here & it's not possible for them to get through all of them, so even if they do manage to get to your message they maybe can't be bothered anymore.
