To wink or not to wink

Whats everyone's thoughts on winking ?

I read a lot of profiles saying they don't look at winks but I think a wink is a non invasive way of saying "hi I like your profile".

It saves jumping straight into a message.

"I don't check my winks"

I always forget to check mine, not that I get any from women, mostly guys and TVs

I like winks - give and receive. It is a soft introduction with no pressure.

Yes we check our winks and if we like the profile we'll wink back. But find most come from people who haven't read our profile and are outside our age limits

I always look, and always acknowledge them, even if it is a polite "no thanks".

I think they are part of the site so why not use them ??? If you have already set all your filters surely you are half way to an attraction and it will at least be from people that meet your criteria....

You can't beat a good wink in the morning

well I do admit it states on my profile, if they like or interested then wink.

I admit I wouldn't wink a profile if they ask not to be winked or that they don't look at winks.

We look at it as an initial hello. If we wink back then it's a hi back.

Then message us. Simples.

I agree winks are a simple way to say like the profile but after reading the the profile if someone's says no winks I don't wink

Always better to read the full profile first

I'm a fan. Good way to see if there is mutual interest and then take it from there

We tend to check ours and send them out on occasion. I think it's good for us since we aren't often on here much. It's a quick way to say "oh we like your profile" without any pressure of messaging or having to reply to a message

I think it shows interest before mailing happens if you receive one back rather than wasting someone's time who is probably already flooded by mails

Good icebreaker

Will usually then then look at their profile unless it's a shadow avatar or cock pic

Better than an Inbox full of "Hi"s
