I will have a look.
I said parlour as I am not sure what the places are called that do massages. Guessing it a spa that does all kinda treatment |

the term for a place for massage is a parlour ( not positive but i think it comes from room) alot of places call themselves spas because they offer other services parlour dosnt mean sex is on offer though

I believe it used to be but nowadays we use the terms... massage room, therapy room, beauty room, beauty salon, beauty clinic and so on.
Most Massage therapists hate the use of the term parlour with a vengeance  |

is was parlour not french for front room or sitting room im sure you took afternoon tea in the parlour lol. im sure many detest how folk take the word but im also sure there would bemany that are not places of ill repute so I think the biggest problems with any languageis people inventing new eeuphemism s of what words mean. |

Agree. Language and interpretation and evolution.
As for the French parlour, the word is often used for a speaking only area mainly in monasteries, churches and prisons
