We are looking to organise a xmas party night for Friday the 22nd December. 3 course meal and tribute act then disco included. Venue will be Hamilton/Motherwell area. £30 per person, price will include meal and secret santa gift. This will NOT be a FAB exclusive night. Guaging interest at the moment but if supported , we can book. |

I also think many will struggle with the cost because most like to make a night of socials and book hotels, add to this the cost of a new outfit and your drinks on the night and itl come to quite a tidy sum, also is a few days before Christmas and many will already be settiling into the festive season with family by this time.
The Christmas social is one of Scotlands main fab night of the year with a great turn out but I do think the cost will put people of.
This is just my opinion tho so good luck with it anyway |

Yep point taken . As we say guaging interest at the moment. We have both organised extremely successful works chtistmas party nights for about 15 years putting our own we spin on them and thought some Fab community members would enjoy a different type of social . Again if im honest £30 for 3 course meal a trubute act show and disco with Dj and a gift is pretty good value. |

The cost is okay for what your getting but as I said if people are traveling for it they would more than likely stay over so that woukd add to the cost |

Hi OP ..
I personally think that the event is NOT entirely exclusive to the swinging lifestyle would have a major affect on people showing interest.
The £30 payment is fair in relation to what is included..However to my knowledge it would probably be one of the highest paid social events ive seen posted on here in over 10yrs.
It does sound like a good night..However im not so sure of the Vanilla swinging mix.
good luck x

Hey guys , sry clearly i have not done a good explanation of what i mean by not a fab exclusive night. Our table would be exclusively fab members but in the venue there would be other works nights out etc . Although having never been to a fab social before im sure if it was a pub or wherever, fab members are Not humping in every corner of the venue. So mixing with non Fab groups will be irrelevant. |

"May also clash with works nights out as it's the last working weekday before Christmas.
"
Falcon we agree on that point as well, but we fave that a thought to. Im now self employed and have no works night out any longer and we reckon lots of people wont have the chance of Works nights out for various reasons .x |

Ah makes a little more sense now think point others were making a lot of the bigger socials are in function rooms or away from main area. No socials are just that lol think point was people relax and talk freely at socials if in same minded company etc. If you had a fab only table very well but some like to socialise with more than just the one table I think the point was?
Actually sounds like a good night out tho tbh
Just the location might put some off but depends on numbers for accommodation etc

Again when i say fab table i dont mean 6-8 people when we organised partys in the past we were looking at 30 - 40 people. Usually with hotel included for around £60 per person for everything, but to keep it simple only looking at meal and entertainment on this occasion. |

Got for it thou there's no real set way to have a social or party night sometimes something new can work for some. |

No its happening naughty we have 12 signed up but only asked today. It was your social that gave us inspiration lol. We did not know what to expect but realised that fabbers and vanilla can be in the same venue but separate. We never heard what any coversation was about from other tables and knowone was showing they were swingers so we thought why not do it . |

Good luck.
Wouldn't have been for us as people can have a little too much alcohol and that is when 'loose lips' and loud talking happens...all of a sudden people are talking about fab within earshot and boom! Scandal horror newspapers, etc.... |

Thx . Yes understand where your coming from. We have made it clear it is primarily a xmas party night only but what happens in the rooms is up to them afterwards. The guest list is made up of very discreet people most of whom we have met in the past, so we are very confident of ZERO scandal lol. |
