I thought I would post this topic as I have found that.many folk are frequently economical with the truth on fab about themselves. I am not in the least glam or slim but never pretend to be. Also when it comes to age. I have.met two guys who were meant to be 50 but clearly qualified for their free bus passes - why waste people's time. Have others experienced this too? |

Never experienced this problem yet,read some funny stories though,I'm the opposite,I met someone who looked younger than there age and was one if the most genuine people I have spoken to,honest and a brilliant laugh from the off,couldn't compliment her more |

I'm very carefree and silly tbh. I enjoy a laugh and view life as a gift. My friends actually struggle to see the serious side of me sometimes but if they ever see me at work that's the business end and money maker. Strictly professional, prompt, diligent and hard working. Once the bills paid though go have some fun!
It's annoying at times thought for example when you have knowledge on a topic, can fix something etc and no one listens cos you fanny about half the time. When you get something right however it's viewed as a miracle lol |

Yes there are some folks who will do and say what ever to get a meet. Have known a guy who's same age as myself but over course of the years has became younger and younger lol!! Maybe FAB is the fountain of youth but sadly notlol.
I asked him why and he blatantly said that the young woman he wanted to meet have age range that would exclude him so he changed it lol !
I don't see the point of lying as you will slip up or in person the true reality is just glaringly obvious !!

I was moaning about my age on a post i put up but why reality is there for all to see but i truly love women with there bumps and lumps that as part of there getting older same as mens. I have always loved the older women from a very young age . Truly scrumptious  |

Always honest about age and size. What u see is what you get with me and if people do not like it then it is their loss. I agree with someone really good looking tho I send full body shots cause I am not a slim lass  |

Honest by name and by nature. Don't see the point in lying about my chubby bits or my age cos if I meet someone they are going to notice! I prefer folk to be honest with me too, can't stand being lied to |

Like I say on my profile, I am me, the good, the bad and the ugly!
Am too busy to pretend to be someone I am not and to be honest, am happy with who I am and don't have the need to invent a Fab persona.
Met a few guys and women during my years on here that are lying about their age. Even their fuckbuds don't know their real age! It's mental but hey ho.
Someone once admitted to me during a social that they lied because 'over 50s are passed it on fab'

At the end of the day people take me as they find me. I like to be honest about what I am looking for on my profile...while someone's status, job, bank balance is totally irrelevant to me I do appreciate a similarly honest profile. |

I have experienced this where older men have reduced their age down to message me and tell me how wonderful a meet would be with them. I have always remained polite and said thank you but no thanks however they continue to advise me to look at their veris because they have met people that have verified me. It then personally comes to a point for me where their age isn't the issue but the fact they have not respected my decision of not wanting to meet and basically trying to force me to meet them |

Being a 50 year old married guy on here on his own I've no qualms with being up front
I've even put on my profile look I'm 50 yes I'm married no my wife does not know I do this and yes that does mean I've next to no chance of meeting anyone

I may not actually state it as openly as yourself. But I do mention that the reason I can't accommodate and say about discretion is due to the fact that I am married. I say this within first couple of messages.

Honesty is always the best policy, but discretion remains the better part of valour. Equally though, being brutally honest can be hurtful to other people, especially people you don't know. So if there are people who get in contact with me and I'm not interested, for whatever reason, then I'm still honest, but polite and respectful. That's just as important as honesty in my book. |
