Can anyone suggest any pubs in Glasgow city centre not too far from Central Stn that are suitable for a wee social meet? The pub scene changes almost weekly so it's difficult to know where's still open!
Looking for somewhere that lets us chat, hopefully intimately without shouting out our business over the music (only for the music to stop at just the right moment so you announce your intentions to the whole establishment!??) Also be good if it was somewhere that we might be able to get a cosy wee seat in a booth to chat freely away from prying ears and eyes.
Got a couple of possibilities in mind but looking for some new suggestions. X

Been in there loads and I agree it's a great night out. Not sure if it might be a bit loud for a social meet because the last time I was in there on a sat there was a karaoke on and was wild!! ???? |

Thanks for all the suggestions guys but was immaterial because after getting all togged up and heading into Glasgow then waiting in central we were stood up!! No message or anything!! Why do people not even have the decency to let you know they're not going to turn up? We were all prepared to have a nice relaxing time having a drink and a laugh with no pressure and if it wasn't her thing then no problem. At least we' would have had a good night out. But it wasn't to be unfortunately.
Most annoyed that we wasted that time standing about waiting instead of enjoying our night. We still had a great night out just ourselves tho. #loveeachotherscompany. |
