Veris - can you ever get it right?

Always such a confidence booster, to receive a verification how much fun someone's had with you and how they've enjoyed your company. And that in real life you look even better than in the pictures (been said a few times, but why don't they put something like that in a veri, that would be a fantastic compliment). But it can also very much make me doubt myself.
Personally I don't go into much detail of what we were up to. What exactly happens stays between me and my date (or possibly in one of my blogs on another site, obviously with permission of the people involved). I make sure to not make any of my dates get the impression I had more fun with someone else. What's going through someone's mind, if they don't put my veri on their profile? Did I put down the wrong things?
Or, for example, if someone leaves me a veri and it's to the point and even a little bit impersonal. While the next veri he leaves for someone else makes it sound like they had waaaay more fun. Damn, thought we had an amazing afternoon. Guess not then... Or maybe he's being polite, or maybe he thinks I gave him a shite veri.
So need your opinions. What's good, what isn't good to put in a verification. Do people want explicit details in there? Is that where I go wrong? Would you differentiate the people you had most fun with in the veris you leave behind? Making the other people you met with feel slightly unworthy and they'd probably not meet you again.

I don't go into details in a veri as I don't like graphic veris. I write a little about having a great time, like to put a little cheek into it, and enjoy getting veris like that too. Something that makes me smile when I read it  |

I hate graphic veris
And always seems weird when it's a hubby speaking about his wife with someone else (why dosnt she write it?
If I receive 1 great thanks if I don't I don't lose any sleep over it
I usually show it the day I receive it ..as a cheers for it but then I hide all mine

Fab is a whole lot of fun I agree. I also think the. Verification process should be used as a guide to how a person treats you socially during the meet (even if it's a play meet), rather than the minutiae of the sexual content. That way it's function is to inform any future meet for safety and social reasons. Sexually our likes and dislikes are so varied... though it's true we all like a wee look at what other people are up to, and I rely to a certain extent on verifications in trying to make initial judgement tbh. |

They do sometimes tell a lot about a person. And often very helpful to figure out you'll possibly get on well, or you're into totally different things. |

I think some people get confused between a verification and a review it's fab after all not what car
Verification means establish the validity or truth of someone which in turn gives others confidence in that person.
Nobody wants to hear what two people got upto between the sheets I firmly believe if it was that good the two people involved will remember it!
Definitely doesn't need documenting |

It does feel like a review sometimes. And it's definitely not meant to be like that. Lots of people seem to like them more detailed and I don't mind, each to their own, but they're just not for me x |

I just don't think I'm very good at writing things so I try to keep mine short and sharp and definitely to the point x
I freeze up when I try to put stuff like that into words.

Agreed on all of this ESPECIALLY the hubby speaking about his wife thing.
Verifications are strange... we all want to know the person is genuine... also they can support an initial feeling about someone you're chatting to (or not)... they can also be totally misleading...
I've been here a while (despite my apparent newness) and it's good to be verified in that there's an affirmation you're real and also in terms of freedom on the site BUT mostly... keep your spidey sense on high and have good filters lol |

In all honesty, more detailed ones are ok with me. Like someone mentioned earlier, my date has put effort into it. And sometimes even gets me all horny on again reading about it. But I am keeping those for myself and would never display them. |
