I was just curious how many males shave under their arms.
I've done it since I did modelling (when I was younger) but still do it because of cleanliness and comfort.
I see so many people speaking of shaved genitals / shaved or not shaved. So why not underarms?
So any male shaved armpits out there?

Personal choice but like genitals or anywhere on the body its not really cleanliness. You started of doing it for the look that was req for your job.
It can get folks backs up when things like thisare said. because what they hear is "your dirty look how clean I am with my hairless body" |

Wow, did not mean it that way (cleanliness).
It is personal preference, I understand that.
I just thought it is not often that guys shave underarms but trim and shave their bits.
Maybe its a culture thing...oh well. Just wondering.

I'm not shaved under arm, but have never had any complaints either
Although, there's no real purpose for it. In the caveman days, it is thought the hairs trapped the sweaty scents for attracting a mate |

"Had an ex that shaved his armpits. He always said he did it so he wouldn't smell as bad when working out/playing football etc. Not sure if that worked but that was his excuse."

I can understand that. I lived in Spain for a long time.

Yep, my very sexy biology teacher told us that and that the natural smell of a clean body (pheromones) is what we are attracted by in a partner. All the girls in the class fancied the arse of him so he must have been hoachin' lolol |

"Personally like to give them a wee trim but there isn't any scientific thought behind it, more of a habit really, like dusting your shelves!"

Thank, I was just curious. I prefer shaved, mrs likes (but think shes just use to it)
Curious thought, when you see male models, aftershave adverts and dancers... have a look.
Pretty funny.

I shave under my arms when I shower.
Although I started because I'm a tv tbh it IS actually cleaner, I sweat less and armpit smell is less as the hair normally traps the sweat.
I do apply talc after every shave and after 5 mins there is zero nipping etc.
Takes about 6 shaves for the underarm to get used to it |

I totally agree, took me a few times to get use to it but really like it. I feel I dont sweat or smell at all...through it might be me.
When I use Veet on my bits for hair removal I also do my underarms, so thats easier to but normally under the shower soap and water...finished.

Have shaved my under arms for a good few years now. Really only started after having a conversation with a girl once and she told me that one of the most off outing things she had come across was a guy with his armpits all matted with deodorant. |
