Such a shame certain people get that d*unk and ruin things for others, sadly this club and d*unks are what ruins everyone's fun. Was a freebie for us using our loyalty card but still felt cheated being robbed of our time, sadly enough is enough for us, took a few weeks out hoping things would change and again sadly they've not.

It's a shame too many people get too d*unk and spoil for others. The cost is high also and it is now turning into a social event or there is too many hassling you single guys etc. I know alot of people that are not going back due to these issue. |

It was great to catch up with some people as we haven't been in ages. However we felt same last night was a strange atmosphere and we left early as we didn't really enjoy urself. It's a shame as it was always a really good night. Think it's time for a time out for us xx |

Blaming people for being d*unk at a social venue on a Saturday night is absurd.
A huge part of the responsibility of for this lies with the host. They're the ones letting people in and serving them alcohol.
It's a cop out blaming d*unk people. Why not give feedback to the host directly and recommend they tighten their door and alcohol policy?

We both had an awesome time at CJ's last night, this was our third visit and the last time was about 6 months ago.
We were made to feel very welcome by Caroline and Michelle and also by some lovely regulars.
Looking forward to spending next Saturday there too.

This is why we're looking forward to our new party venue!
I would be really put off my drink people staggering all over the place as it's meant to be a relaxed and fun night and it's hard to relax in an environment like that. We've not been to CJs in ages and unless it changed then we won't be back.
It's a shame as us used to be a great night! |

Voiced many times, it's a known fact which never gets addressed. Turning up at the door pissed at any other club you'd be turned away so why different at this club? (Not a social venue but a paid club)

My son holds his SIA badge and works the doors for pubs and clubs and he'll turn people away. Difference is there's no drinks licence to lose at cj's whereas pubs and clubs can lose their license.
Just a pity those on the doors won't make the same judgement call and turn people away. The result is the few are spoiling it for the majority.

Thought it best to add a bit to this. We have noticed lately that there have been a few guests who do have a bit too much to drink and last night we did speak to some about this but did not want to come down to hard last night as there was a large crowd who had been out to a night out before coming along. In the past we have refused guests drink and asked some to leave for this reason. We are sorry to hear that this has put some people off. We have taken on board all your comments and will monitor and manage this more closely in future and hope to see you all back again. Please feel free to come and speak to us about any issues at any time. Cj xx |

If people want a cheap night out to get pissed then they should go bowling and leave the club to those that want to use it for what it's intended for

Well I think ppl who can't handle their drink shouldnt drink at all i used to do doors south too I've turn somevaway warned others anf put out loads but end of day ppl are responsible for their own actions at any event as for single guys no means no and if pushed it let one of door know they soon remove them but they are not in the rooms all time watching it's ppl who in room to watch out for eachother but face it they only want but of fun too but admit some can be full on but always been sorted |

We had a great time at CJS using the facilities and didn't notice any issues. As far as I'm aware though it's a party and the price is to cover a party contribution. Like any other party, people BYOB, and it's not the first time we have ended up a little under the weather too. As with any other party, there are always annoying d*unk people and people that don't get on because of this but that's people in general - everyone doesn't get on with everyone else. But that's why we socialise and chat with folk - to get to know them - before we go upstairs. |

You have been to our house a few times for social events and never been in that bad a state that we would have asked you to leave. This has nothing to do with dislike of people. As you mentioned it's a party contribution ( a pretty hefty one to put up with that nonsense) it wouldn't be tolerated in a pub or club so why should we tolerate it here. We almost always enjoy our time at Cjs and fully support the club but as you can see from Cjs comment above there where and have been issues which have been noted and are being dealt with
