it's not really a sex query as such but my friend is on this site and didn't want to have it posted under his name to keep his identity private. I've tried googling it and can't find much information on it so here I am asking on here to hopefully help my friend..
So, has any males ever had to have an operation on their testicles and had to have coils/springs fitted? If so, how long did it take to get back into the swing of things again and have sex and/or no longer be in such discomfort? He feels like his sex life may be over and I'd hate for this to be true for his sake. The hospital didnt say anything other than it's normal for him to feel the discomfort.
Thanks for reading this post feel free to PM me if you don't want it to be posted on publicly. |

Thank you. He's very self conscious about this op he had and feels like he won't have sex again so I'm unsure if it's more psychological rather than physical due to the nature of the operation he has had to have. It was now 8 months ago so hopefully he can over come this. |

"Is it for varicocele embolisation? "
Yeah sorry I didn't know the name of it when I was writing this earlier.
He also ended up with one of his testies being removed in the process of it all. |

"Wasn't he offered counselling or referred to any services to help cope?
Not sure what I'd do if I was in the same predicament, probably think, feel the same way. No sex, what would be the point?"
They just do regular scans every few months to ensure everything is ok on the inside. |
