"Time for a wee break from this I think far to many who just want pictures and talk bull lol "
Fab has changed over the past few years but there is good gems out there, you just have to spend time to sieve them out. I have made a lot of good friends via the site it's not all doom and gloom. However I do agree there is a good amount of time wasters, pic collectors and looneys. The gems that you find tho makes it all worth while xx |

"Been called a timewaster because I won't meet at the drop of a hat...
Hey ho
Same here, find it odd"
Tinewasters, fakes, fantasists.......had the whole gambit of petulant responses from people who for one reason or another we have decided against meeting. Dont let it bother us as this is all meant to be fun but so many seem to treat it like life and death! |

"No it's people who talk for weeks see your private pics arrange a meet then disappear lol , not u lovely people xx"
You don't get anything in this life for free. You have to work for it and to be honest its easy to identify a timewaster. When there is a doubt during messages then just don't bother. I wouldn't go on for weeks and weeks if both of us were looking for a meet.
Fab has changed over the years, that's for sure, but there are a lot of genuine, lovely, fantastic people on fab and they are out there.
May ways to check. Did you speak to them on the phone before they disappeared, did you check their verifications etc..
But they may have just disappeared because fab was too much for them or had a meet and found it wasn't for them
Keep the faith and you will find them.
Down with the timewasters |

"I have been called a timewaster on many occasions on fab for the reason I have decided not to meet"
If anyone calls you a timewaster just don't bother about it. If your chatting to someone, you will know when you feel confident enough to meet without being hassled.
Take it as their loss xx |

I think it's becoming a bit of an overused phrase and muddying the waters between lack of acceptance and impatient arses and genuine people who have been messed about.
Simple fact is treat people as you would like them to treat you, if they fall short it's on them
Don't let a few idiots ruin your fun, lots of cool and willing mature folks to play with |

I too have been branded as a timewaster but for the last 8 months I have struggled with stress and looking after an elderly patent. Family come first we all have a life away from fab and will meet as and when it's suitable.
Now that I don't have that responsibility of caring now that's care home job I can meet but it will be with who I want to meet and when I want too not when the other party thinks it's going to happen at the drop of a hat. First meet is always social to see how we get on then maybe take it a step further. |

I'm wondering what constitutes a time waster?
We have chatted to peeps on and off for a year before meeting. We have chatted to peeps and met within a couple of days. We have chatted to peeps and they have disappeared off Fab never to be seen again. We have chatted to peeps and they have disappeared off Fab only to return some time later. We could be branded time wasters and could brand others as times wasters. I think it all comes down to expectations. Vanilla life comes first. We have no idea what others are dealing with or what will come up in our own life. I suppose there are people out there who never meet. We interact with a view to letting things evolve and no expectations therefore no disappointments |

This especially the last words - "no expectations therefore no disappointments" and the good things seem to flow with that attitude too |

"I'm wondering what constitutes a time waster?"
Me too. Everyone seems to be on fab for different reasons: some are here to socialise, some to exchange in dirty chat; some like exchanging pictures; some like to meet. Of those that like to meet, some will dive right in, others need various degrees of assurance or connection making first.
All of those different types of people potentially see the others as time wasters.
"We interact with a view to letting things evolve and no expectations therefore no disappointments "
I like that .
