At my last party I got pelters for my choice in music (thanks Damsel in distress) I like a mix of nineties-indy rock and seventies funk, cheesy, disco. Just playing nicely in the background. So the question is what is best? suitable? a mood maker and a mood breaker?? |

Depends on the party. I like Sade - Smooth Operator and similar stuff, kinda mellow tunes for intimate moods. If its more naughty then Robbie Williams - Forever Texas is a good one, as is Santana - Smooth.
Dont ever put on something obscure, or something like agadoo by black lace unless it is a cheesey party. |

Ok wetandwild, you'll need to come to the next party and bring your ipod then. I think I'll go with the Sade smooth groove approach, not sure about Robbie, but slipknot is a definate lol |

Glasgow - ish ;-) |
The music is for background purposes only, the conversation/social side is paramount to a sucessful party. I really wouldn't worry about the music choice, as we recall it was a conversation point on more than one occasion in a good way. XxX MT |

Scream until you like it ( for s&m evenings) other than that smack my bitch up is always a favourite with the ladies as is bend me shape me anyway you want me ( if it's a circus themed evening) in general though something with a decent beat ( try to avoid Dragonforce at 220 beats / min) as shagging in time with that looks like a row of sewing machines going liike the clappers !
Any more advice - my door is always nailed shut!! |

ahh last minute I had Serge Gainsbourg's J'taime on the turntable, my lit candle stuck in a bottle of Matteus Rose, and some incense sticks burning, waiting for you to come round and see me. x |
