What do you like?

Already put this on another board, but think it needs to be re-posted for people nearer in the hope local folk see it and maybe change their ways. This is still something that is asked several times a day and will most likely result in the person being blocked.
After being asked yet again "so what do you like?" I thought I'd stick a blog on here that I read a while ago (not my own work). Wondering if other females feel the same and hopefully some advice for the men who weren't too sure about this.
Asking a woman what she’s into is a conversational dead end. It is really best left unasked.
It comes across as if the one and only thing guys want to know about is our sexual proclivities. Nothing else is of any interest, except the degree of freakiness. You don’t want to get to know her and what type of person she is, you merely want to know what kind of sex you can expect from her.
The problem here is that, even if the woman in question were to answer it, it doesn’t open up conversation. Here’s what will most likely happen if you try:
Him: What are you into?
Her: Nothing particularly exotic
Him: Oral sex? Vaginal sex?
Her: I think that’s a pretty safe assumption for nearly all women here
Him: Nothing else?
Her: As I said, nothing exotic
Him: How about anal? Do you like anal sex?
Her: I’m not having anal sex with you
Him: I know, I’m just wondering what you like is all
Her: I’m not blown away by anal, and I absolutely won’t do it with a new partner
Him: But you’ve done it?
Her: Why is it so important for you to hear me say it? Yes, I’ve done it
This is NOT a conversation. None of these questions need to be asked. Nothing of any significance got revealed. It is not getting you any closer to meeting the lady in question. You’re sending all the wrong messages and you’re losing points every step of the way.
You know how a conversation like this really comes across?
Him: What are you into? I need to get off. So I need to hear about your sexual exploits
Her: The usual stuff
Him: That’s not good enough. You have to describe it in detail. You need to use words like “pussy” and “tits” or I won’t be able to masturbate to completion. Do you like sucking dick?
Her: I enjoy oral
Him: No! You have to say DICK. Do you like sucking DICK?? Oh my god, I’m so fucking HARD here and you’re not helping. Do it right!!!!

Nothing wrong with normal conversation and a hint of cheekiness, but don't try to drag it out of us like this. If the connection is there you'll find out every single dirty little detail sooner or later. But better not start it off this way.

It's a fair observation of an everyday thing for most women here... annoying as it is...
Some men may just want to perv pics, wank at messages or cams in chat etc but we all use the site for our own ends which might well be very irritating for others. Oh and women do annoying stuff too before that's pointed oot

I get asked that a lot and always ask if they read.my profile. However saying that I realise that I have not listed any sexual interests so perhaps their question is justified. I tend to prefer these questions after we have exchanged many messages! |

Love this post, I've had the same conversation plenty of times.
Besides what I want from one person I don't necessarily want from another. I like to find out what I'm into whilst being with that particular person. We all have different talents. |

I think its fair to say there are guys, girls, couples and all other manor of people who do this.
The "what you into" or "free... wanna meet" messages dont fair well with us. Wouldnt block or disregard someone for it but we wouldnt spend as much time answering them as we would the messages that ask about us or compliment our pics etc (a nice compliment goes a long way).
I (mr) do most of the chatting on here. I make myself known so as not to leave anyone under the illusion its the better half talking. But i do like a little bit of effort in a message.
Doesnt need to be war and peace and certainly have no problems with people asking how we are. Its a good start to a message. Just add a little more. Engage us. Make us message back. Pick up on things from our profile. Shows you took the time to look. Rather than just saw a few picks and thought yes please x

Yeah totally agree. If it's someone new on the site I don't hold it against them, since they're probably not aware how it comes across. But if they've been on for ages and still go about it that way they're not getting my attention.
Compliments definitely a great start and even better if they show an interest in the person, not just the pics x |

Kinda agree with this after looking at some of the profiles, the list of demands and do's and don'ts can fill a book. But they do have the upper hand on sites like this despite arguing to the contrary.

It's a fair and funny post, I can guess exactly the shit girls are asked constantly, you see it on the forums too. However just keep in mind women are just as bad. This past month Iv had:
1. A member have a go at me for looking at their page once and not saying hello even though they recently rejoined with a different username with different public photos and didn't say hello to me when they rejoined under the new account. (Username was recently changed back to the original)
2. A single fem demand if I was to meet for her preferred daytime play I had to clear the entire day, be there at 9am and not leave until 15.00, oh and my phone was to be off. This person is verified and genuine.
3. Told what exactly which aftershave to be wearing and to be dressed smart in a selection of preferred clothing brands
4. Asked for my fabswingers logins so a couple could check who my veris are from
(This one was actually about 6 weeks ago but I couldn't leave it out)
5. Told to turn up for a coffee meet with a small list of alcohol spirits for her as a 'tribute'
I genuinely think I'm a decent enough fella and do approach the site with a different view, but damn this lot got on my nerves and it has really put me off bothering with the site just now. But, not all single fems and couples are like this...just as not all guys adopt the conversation in the OPs quality thread

I was only going to make a small suggestion that you dress only in red, wear Dolce and Gabbana aftershave, have socks that are no more than 2" past your ankles, bring a selection of cakes to show your worthiness and provide me with 2 forms of ID,your mother's maiden name and your first pets name. I didn't think it was that unreasonable

hmm tricky one imo
mind many members of all sexs are here to meet and fuck . they have no real desire to know you or anyone they meet . likewise many are here to fufill specific fantasies or kinks so finding out if a potential meet is ok or into similar is fairly key .
like anything on here its all about context , having the sense to contact a profile that may seem suitable to your needs . i wont contact bi guys for example as its not my thing like wise particular ladies wouldnt suit me either . if folk done tbat rather than spraying and praying ( message every pic that appeals regardless of profile content ) im sure it would everyones life a bit easier . however such is the site its highly unlikely to change |
