Ketchup?
So I was in Gregg's the other day and a guy to the side of me replies to the sauce question with, "ketchup". Then someone else says it. While I was in 4 people used the K word.
Since when did people stop calling it tomato sauce?
The women in Gregg's correct me if I say, "broon sauce". They give me a look and say "Brown sauce?"
So, aye.. tomato sauce? or ketchup? |

I remember as a youngster being shocked, confused and almost speechless when asked, in a chip shop in North Berwick, if I wanted salt and sauce.
It was like being told the earth was actually flat. |
