What's the worst you have done?
Just been fixing the floorboards and just gone through a water pipe. Plumber and Electrician been, now waiting for the Builders to turn up and see what they can do about my floor and the downstairs bathroom - oops |

Went out to shops while ex had started up the wallpaper steamer to start scraping the walls, when i got back she said "this things not workin right",ohh there was steam etc, but without thinking i put my hand on the lid of the boiling hot water tank, soon as i touched it, it must of been threaded on wrongly, the movement of me touching it and the huge pressure blasted it off, a fountain of scalding water hit my chest, arm and face. Not the worst burn you can get but a bit more than stung a bit, went to hospital. |

Had a new carpet fitted, quite thick pile, so had to cut a bit off the bottom of the door.
Took the door off and cut 1/2" off, only to find I'd cut it off the wrong end of the door.
So, just thought I'll move the hinges, so hacked away at the door frame too.
Then found out that the fucking door lock was 1/2" out too, so started hacking away at that.
Ended up splitting the door frame.
Cost us fucking fortune to have new door frame, new door and redecorate the room and the hallway.
If you need something fucking up, just send for me |

My pals husband took a radiator off to bleed it, thing leaked rusty water all over the carpet, he ran up the hall(water leaking everywhere) threw it into the bath, it was a cast iron bath, the radiator made a big hole in it.
He had to buy a new bathroom suite, a new hall carpet and get a heating engineer in to sort the radiators.
He has a whole books worth of DIY disasters. |

lol - all we ever do is Bloody Decorate houses in our spare time...
one time we were decorating for a neighbour - and we were half way thru papering the hallway, so we left the "wallpaper-paste" in the bucket next to the bathroom sink - and it had a towel over the top of the bucket !!
but the young kitten they had jumped on it and drowned in the paste.... |
