Hello good people I have a quick question... do guys/ladies still go to pub hoping to meet someone?? I feel like a drink today and I was hoping to meet a lady at the pub but I am not sure if it still works ... replies would be most appreciated |

So there I was a month or so ago sitting in the Coachman grabbing a quick pint and browsing fab.
See who is near - "maybug" single female from shrewsbury-within 1/4 mile......
Must be staying in hotel or nearby.
Anyway 10 mins later this lady arrives across the corner of bar orders a bottle of rose wine and a burger n chips.
I check the pics again, the hair shape of glasses the build defo her.
I ponder the situation and wonder what to do. What would you do ?
Anyway I pluck up courage and approach. ...
Excuse me could not help but hear you there, is that a Shewsbury accent?
Totally bewildered she blurted out yes but how can you tell that ?
"And you've got a crackin set of boobies " I laid it on.
"just been admiring them"
Shocked then realisation then a hint of worry.
Quickly defused by an apology for intruding and offer to leave.
Anyway after a few laughs had a great chat for ages helped finish chips and parted good friends.
No play wanted or asked for either way but a great random meet.
