That sounds like the most made up thing ever. In the day and age of electronic tickets and reserved seats and a steward just "takes pity" and compromises hos job and role so that he can let a couple of folk in???

i used to be a steward at celtic and never had a complimentary ticket to just give away..
considering how many security staff will be working the stadium would be half empty if they all had a complimentary ticket! |

My sons mate got in last time at ibrox with an old ticket...
Said to the guy his ticket wasn't working and the steward was that harassed he never looked at the ticket and let him in!!
He was at the celtic end

I now that there were 3 of them, young lads, smartly dressed, not wearing colours.
I doubted it too,especially as the lad I know has no real interest in football, more of a rugby player.
But seen the pictures of them in stadium watching Aberdeen Hibs. |
