Cope perfectly well enjoying the peace n quiet plus all the extra space like turning a bedroom into a 3m wardrobe for each of us in the house and not having to worry that someone has eaten all the good food I got when I went shopping.... then I wake up in the morning and realise it was a dream and we've still got a couple of years to go ;-(

My boy is away on his

first school trip this week, I am finding it hard going as hes not allowed to phone home. He's only 12! I keep telling him when the time comes to go to uni, spread his wings and fly. The world is his oyster. I would hate him to stay here in our small dead end town, nothing here for him except me. But wonder how I will cope if and when that time comes... maybe I should get a puppy now lol

I am dreading September when my youngest girl goes to uni in Edinburgh. I will be on my own first time ever and I know it will hit me hard. I'm going to try and travel more and take up a new hobby

My oldest is now in the Army. He is based in Germany.

I was gutted when he moved away but you realise you cant keep them under your wing forever.

Still got two screaming banshees to fulfill my life for the next 16 years so that will keep me busy

My two lads have flown the nest so got the place to myself. They have my phone number but seem to think it is connected to a free taxi service so I get to see them when it involves driving them places.lol

I am enjoying the peace and quiet as well as teaching myself how to cook better.
