A lot of the male steampunk is out there enough to look amazing but probably still within most guys comfort zone, if they won't do PVC etc.
I would have loved to dress J up and drag him out as the atmosphere looks unique, but he is away on a boys weekend in Blackpool. |

Enforced Fantasy Dress Code:
Fetish, Body Art, Burlesque, Berlin Kabaret, Medical, Militaria, Moulin Rouge, Venice Carnival, Circus Freakshow, Top Hat & Tails
No Regular Suits (even with a hat!!) / No Regular Kilts / No Casual Streetwear / No Jeans (even black) / No Fashion Camo / No Cotton T-shirts / No Cheap Fancy Dress Copies! No regular black trousers (head to toe fetish fantasy outfits, not just a top!)
A lot of people wear cosplay outfits too but if you email a pic of your outfit they will let you know if it's within dress code. Scott tends to wear goth/steampunk outfits or militaria, I tend to wear more fetish inspired outfits xx |

Just back from London at the weekend. Quite the event amazing costumes and some crazy sites almost everywhere! Would imagine Edinburgh will be a might tamer than that. Will get to an Edinburgh one eventually. Enjoy! |

The first time I went to TG, my male friend went as a police officer. Thanks to a friend in the Props department, he borrowed a costume from The Bill.
The amount of comments he got at London was insane. Some not great, but most people after the initial shock took it well.
A completely different story in Brighton. He was swamped by gay/bi men the minute he walked in. Got far more male attention then I did dressed in an under-bustier and pvc skirt! |

"Sewing last minute chains and feathers then my outfit is done
Can't wait to see the pics sounds like it's going to be impressive
Wish we were going this time "
It'll definitely be a friends only pic as there's not much to the outfit but seems to have been a lot of sewing xx |

I've made a bit of a last minute decision to go to TG next weekend... not a clue how my outfit will turn out but hoping I can grab some inspiration over the next couple of days. Really looking forward to it |

Thought people were way more friendly than in London. In many ways it was far less hardcore though. No couples area or room and a massive lack of soft play area sadly. Some good bdsm play areas that were well run though.
Had a good night but probably won't be going to the other Edinburgh ones, to much of a trip for what it was. |
