I was the same. Loved finishing work and Taking a walk down for a munch.
I remember one year in my street one of the neds tried rugby tackling the back legs of a police horse. Watching him fly through the air was hilarious |

Thought the same that even the whole prom isn't that long. Always did wonder why fifers got so excited about it.
Prob nostalgia more than anything as from what seen the time we went was just the extortionate side shows you get at any other fair around the country. |
