To knit it took me years before it sunk in how to cast on. Well chuffed with my little self makibg a scarf.
What have other people learned how to do later on in life that many others could do as children, mother one is hula hooping was 26 when I mastered it |

My sister can crochet and taught me how to do it, made a blanket and never done it again lol. my sister uses youtube for patterns so u should try that xx

Love knitting, sewing and I am always keen to learning new stuff!
Re-learnt how to crochet last week. I had not crochet for 35 years 
I saw the Octopus crochet appeal for premature babies in hospitals.
And I want to do a few to help, that was my motivation to re-learn 
Had forgotten how fun it is |

My uncle taught me how to crochet at 5 years old! And with Youtube videos it all came back.
Have a look at YouTube videos and Pinterest for free patterns.

1/4 pint of cold water and 2oz basmati per serving (no salt).
Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat, put the lid on and leave for 5 minutes.
