Try the Meetup app. You can find social groups of different interests in your area & hopefully make some connections with similarly minded people.

Tried reddit ? Not sure how easily you could meet someone on there but there's a sub forum for literally everything whatever your interests are you'll find like minded folk there to talk to. Try googling r altgonewild for starters .
