Was chatting to a friend today and she said that's it's pretty gross to wash dishes in a sink filled with "dish water"...
It's like jumping into a filled Bath after someone has just finished getting out of it..
I wash dishes under running water....
What are my fellow fabbers thoughts...? |

I fill the sink with hot soapy water and let my dishes and cutlery steep for about half an hour then I soap up the wee sponge and wash them and rinse them under the cold water and put in the drainer to dry and if my daughter does them I've usually to rewash as she still has the days before dinner on them lol xx |

I give everything I use a wee rinse as soon as I'm done using them, before washing them properly, which stops the dishwater turning into a bogging soup of food scraps!
So I'm happy to stick stuff from the sink to the draining board without rinsing as my dish water is clean enough already. |

I wash dishes in a basin of hot soapy water, stack them on the drainer, when they're all washed I plunge them all into another basin of clean hot water . . the heat transfers into the plates making them dry faster on the draining board.
