I learnt an interesting fact the other day from a girl friend that I spray after shave in my hair as it'll last longer. Seems to make sense.
So, from your experience ladies do men with beards (that wear aftershave obviously) generally smell better than men without lol?
Or if you mind men with beard particularly sexy in the image you have of your sexy man with a beard does he smell like a fry up on Sunday? |

Beards are us much unhigienic as you let them be, I clean mine daily, i take care of it, i don't think that is will have more bacterias than a nobeard face, i eat using my mouth and i don't rub the food on it
About the smell, mine smells to the oil i use that morning, usually a vainilla tea tree and citrus |

I worry about people who so bluntly say that "beards are unhygienic". It tells me that they probably don't wash their own face or hair as frequently as they should because they think they aren't unhygienic.
Hygiene is about maintenance. Your skin will collect just as much dirt as your hair if you don't wash it. The entire human body requires consistent maintenance.
Mouths are unhygienic, hands are definitely unhygienic.
People who have long hair on their heads assume that since they can't be bothered to shampoo everyday then beards must also receive the same level of care, because hair, right? ... Wrong!
You have no idea who just used the toilet and didn't wash their hands.
C'mon folks, we live in the soap-age.. if a person's beard is unhygienic it's because the rest of their body is and have bad hygiene practices in general and you're naive if you think they've suddenly upgraded their level of hygiene by cutting off their beard.
If beards are unhygienic, so is long hair
