Temple bar is the best pub we went too. Although along temple street next to Hard Rock Cafe there is loads of pubs and clubs. It's dear but the nightlife was fun with all the folk music they play. Dublin zoo was also awesome, huge zoo and they had a wee baby elephant there when we went in August(probs the highlight of my trip as I love elephants . The Guinness storehouse also good for a wee visit . Hope you guys have a great time away xx |

Aviemore and regularly visit Glasgow |
We thought the open top bus tour was a great way to get about. Stops at all the interesting stuff like Guinness, Kilmainham Gaol, the Zoo etc and the drivers are good craic. We got a good deal online that included the bus to and from the airport and a ticket for the bus tour that covered the whole weekend.
Oh, there's a sex shop with a porn cinema attached to it on Mary st too!

The open top buses are fab. The driver gives a commentary of where you are, some of them are really funny. You can buy a Dublin pass online before you go. Gives you discounted access onto various attractions and a free drink at the Guinness brewery! |

Spend lazy days on Grafton street, st Stephens Green enjoying the craic and odd street entertainer.....lunch at Avoca then wander into Trinity University main square... it's like Harvard Uni in Boston only more historic... you can even pop in to look at the book of Kells if the queue is small.
Agree with others that the bus tour is worthwhile, Temple Bar pubs are fun and busy.
You'll have a ball, I've been going for years. |
