Currently toying with the idea of organising something at the end of June. This one would hopefully be near the beach..
Before I can look at venues etc I'd like to know how much interest there would be in attending?
Obviously the location means less hotels on the door step for those traveling but I could possibly look at ways round that if there was enough interest... |

Okay.. I provisionally have a venue and a date!
Saturday 1st July. 7.30pm
Its just outside Edinburgh city centre. By the sea.
Taxi to centre of town isn't much and plenty buses too. This time I will not be designated driver!
I'm happy to pay to hire the venue but I do need some contributions for a DJ so it will be £5 a head.

Besides where would I stay?
I am a confident man that makes his own decisions so if I want an invitation I will ask you OP.

Thank you for the invitation, informative message and answering my questions.
I do like to socialise and this is very tempting... so I am thinking about it! If I do attend it will be the furthest I would have travelled and there are soo many things to consider...
