I'm thinking of going for my coaching badges to help out at my daughters football club,I will have to go through a police check to make sure I'm not a sicko, does anyone know if this site would Flash up? |

I think you are safe mate lol. Being on here is not breaking any crimes remember. Consenting adults chatting and having fun.
The authorities will run checks (PVG now as opposed to Disclosure Scotland). This is to check you have no criminal record or a past which would put kids at risk.
Good luck with the coaching, frustrating at times but also very rewarding  |

I will say this, if your caught dogging it will be a criminal offence and probably cut short your coaching days.. |

NO, unless you have done something dodgy on here and its been reported to police.
I have my SFA badges and have a totally clean record anyways. Only things will show up that you have been charged for, which you should know.
But I know for a fact that if you have 3 points on your licence, wait till they expire as when they are check on disclosure Scotland they will stay on your form for 25 years

I have had PVG checked last week and all good. Unless you have any cautions or convictions or been out fighting causing havoc then u will be fine  . Happy coaching xx |

Sorry got to say this, as one of the things I have a beeeee in my bonnet about when it comes to kids football!
You will be the 'coach' ... the 'kids' play the footy!

Sorry got to say this, as one of the things I have a beeeee in my bonnet about when it comes to kids football!
You will be the 'coach' ... the 'kids' play the footy!

LOL, I don't think he means playing himself, just caught up in the hype of this post. Doesn't matter when it comes to levels, you can have the basic level but still teach the kids the very basics. The levels of coaching all have a certain significance in how far you take it.
Back on topic, just don't do anything bad in regards to a conviction as it will show up on your disclosure and you wont be allowed to coach
All the bet with your new venture and help the youths as much as possible realise their dreams
