A world of my own

No but I know of a charity who would love people's support!

I'd like to be fit enough to run it, however I'm sadly not.

done one a few years ago . shin splints from start to finish and caused stress fractures in both tibias .

my conclusion is running is the devils work and carried out by sadists . there is a reason you never see a smiling runner

Lol

I have been amazed at various events at how people can enter them with little or no training!!

And am not saying that's what Villain did!

A few other reasons for the above to occur from running.

Villain... you should come running with me! I enjoy it and it shows lol

It's a distance am not having fun doing so am out lol.

Hope you are injury free for it. Good luck OP

Hope your in one of the 1st waves or you'll never get a a good finish time, I did the lakes one and was in wave 6, I struggled to get passed people on some of the obstacles and very nearly finished out of the top 10 which would of been devastating to me. Hopefully the weather will be good to, nightmare in the rain to get over some of the obstacles .

Hope you do well

Long time to recover from a serious Achilles injury

Tweaked my knee at work and never thought much of it

But running made it work

Thankfully have pmi through work and it covers physio

Aye that's cool, my last race I was in wave one and I have to say it really did make all the difference . I had the mentality of none shall pass and none did lol

How many did they allow in a wave now ? Is it still the same as the Lakes one ? Think that was about 200 if memory serves me . Ta
