I think sometimes the idea of meeting a couple sounds great until it is actually about to happen and the person bottles out of it. I don't believe they are all time wasters as such maybe nerves just get the better of them.
We have a meet posted and the amount of mail we are getting from people who are not meet verified is unreal. We will only meet verified people and check that their verifications are from other well verified people. |

We had the same so annoying and from a supposed couple too. Spoke Saturday arranged a meet this afternoon. Then yesterday they say they have arranged another but happy to meet for coffee. After we had rearranged appointments to suit their times too. |

Sadly you will always get your timewasters however my thoughts are you need to sort the wheat from the chaff, there are some of us out there who will always turn up to any meet arranged and I for one really appreciate the effort that is made by any prospective meet. Good luck |

Haven't had it happen yet but we tend to do a fair bit in terms of checking people are genuine first. With some profiles it's obvious they're genuine but others require a bit more looking into. |

I'm not a fan of phone sex but I think a quick chat on the phone before a meet is a good thing. I was on POF a long while back and met a few girls with out talking on the phone first. 1 could hardly string a sentance together and one was just a silly wee ned. It sounds silly but a quick phone call can tell loads about a person, in my opinion. |
