Has this man NO scruples?

Just seen him on the TV, today slagging off the PM re her invitation to Trump to the UK. He used the word "fawning"!

This is the guy, when FM, fawned over 'the Donald' re the Menie Estate golf links, and over-ruled the local Aberdeenshire planning authority.

As I say, has this man no scruples???

He hates trump

And didn't back down just because...

So as I'm not a fan of his..he stuck to his guns

Didn't let him walk all over Scotland just because he had billions of money

More than most who slagged trump off then when he won open their arms quicker than a whores legs

He actually did let him walk all over Scotland because of his money. He ensured that the golf resort went ahead despite all the obejctions from environmental groups etc. It was a site of Special Scientific Interest.

The resort had been rejected by Aberdeenshire councillors but in an unprecedented move Salmond over-ruled local democracy and decided it should go ahead anyway. It was later discovered Salmond had met Trump's representatives the day before the decision was made to allow it.

Hard to find, with a few exceptions, to find a politician from any political party that isnt lower than snakes belly in a wagon rutt.

Notwithstanding that...the biggest mistake by far was the decision taken by the SNP not to fight to retain Salmon and to prevent him moving sideways for Sturgeon to come in. She's not as sharp and isn't feared by the other political parties as he is.

Still a numpty though

I'm pretty sure I seen loads of pictures of the donald and wee Eck cosying up when he was allowed to build his golf course. A golf course that the locals objected to and petitioned against.

Events move on. The letter Trump sent to Salmond after the offshore wind farm was approved, which was full of childish comments and personal abuse, showed Trump to be a megalomaniac bully of the first degree. Yet, he is an elected president of a country the UK is deeply in thrall to so keep your enemies closest?

Allegedly he is a bit of a ladies man......

I see America like a good mate who has a girlfriend you don't like. You still see him but hope that the relationship ends soon.

Haha brilliant

On a more serious note got the impression Salmond first gave Trump time of day due to ignorance of how Trump treated the common public. Upon meeting in person the impression Salmond got soured, seeing this firsthand, and hasn't been the same since.

Personally don't see a problem with Salmond changing his mind down the line, we are not all born with the answers

That can't be the case, it was after meeting him first hand that he approved his golf course. Completely running over local democracy.
