So a wee think films you have watched were the sequel is better than the first one? For me it's got to be the godfather part 2

No way the 2nd Godfather is brilliant but equally as brilliant as the first. Could never split them.

Falkirk

Rocky 5, the one where he gets ripped off and ends up broke!

However, did you know there was a 3rd Starship Troopers film, direct to DVD, it was awesome!

Insidious 2. Doesn't try to imitate the original, it builds on it and enriches it.

Yup I did, and it was shockingly bad.

Did you know that there was a sequel to "The Mask" as well as a thrid Ace Ventura?

The Devil's Rejects, even though we liked House of 1000 corpses more the sequel was a better film with a stronger plot and direction.

Dawn of the Dead, after Night it pretty much exploded the zombie genre with imitators everywhere.

Captain America: Civil War, not just a better sequel but probably the best MCU movie yet.

Spider-Man 2 - Molina nails Doc Ock and Ramimi creates some amazing set pieces (the train for one).

Evil Dead 2, though almost a full remake the drastic shift in tone and goofball humour gave us Bruce Campbell in all his cheesy glory.

I mean if were talking a full list I stand by empire as best of all time but The Dark Knight, X2, and a good few of the others listed. But I also thought the expendables 2 was not too bad lol

I'm with you ALL the way on Alien 3! Massively underrated and misunderstood, the assembly cut is fantastic. Fincher might have disowned it but by God does he put his bleak, nihilistic stamp on it. There can be no 'happy ' ending as far as xenomorph encounters go, only destruction.
