I was working at a major Sporting Event 10th Anniversary Dinner at which I was the MC. Whilst on stage they put up on the large screens in the venue a group picture from event held 10 years ago which I was in plus one of the group taken at start of this night as they had lost some embers since then and were going to honour them. On looking up at the screens and at myself in both I thought...ffs you look old!!!!! |

"Some make me go "oh my" others "oh my god" "
Lol, totally agree but obviously keep my opinion to myself, unless it's "oh my" and then I can't help but compliment |

For me I don't think so. If I fancy someone when they're 25 I'm probably still going to find them attractive when they're 75 (unless they've done something which changes my overall opinion of them). |

Agreed
Like I said on the other thread.
A smile remains the same, one's eyes remain the same. Or dimples. The way someone carry themselves, voice etc... remain the same.
For me that's the 'look' package.

Was at a funeral recently with folks that I ran around with as kids. All I can say is 'thank you dear lord' - they all looked around 10 years older than me |

"I'm happier with the way I look now. Maybe I've just got used to my face
"
I know that feeling. As I've aged I think my face has softened and the sweet wee wrinkles give it more character. It's a face that has lived, laughed, loved and cried and to anyone who cares or has the stomach to look at it, it's all there. I'm happy with it. It's the only one I've got!! |
